Lavender Sesame Sunburn Salve

This is a great salve to use if you or your loved ones have been out in the sun a bit too long. Also who hasn't forgotten one or two spots when applying sunblock, and has later noticed a few hot red spots? Lavender essential oil is very well known for speeding healing of sun burns. I used pure therapeutic grade lavender essential oil and menthol from mint plants to help with heal and cool the skin. I am a Floridian, so this salve comes in very handy. The base oils in this salve include Olive oil and Sesame oil. Sesame oil is the number one base oil used in Chinese herbal salves for its cooling (Yin) properties. The sesame oil gives this salve a rich earthy aroma. This salve is soft and bound with beeswax. This is a 1.5 oz glass container.
