A versatile, modular and extremely affordable product; No screws, no nails, no tools, no staking, not even assembling required. Simply open and put them on the ground/deck and on top of one other to get the desired height.
Made of 195x20 mm (7.7x0.8") planed solid white wood boards (Scandinavian spruce) and specially designed galvanized steel hinges that lock collars in place firmly.
Smooth surface - perfect for painting. Add even more color to your garden.
Reconnect the sides into various configurations: square,rectangle, hexagon, even triangle if you wish!
Light and sturdy - ONLY 9 kg each.
Heat Treated (better durability without chemicals), Kiln Dried, Debarked. ISPM 15 certified. The timber comes from sustainably managed forests.
A garden collar is a complete frame - 4 boards interconnected with 4 hinges.
Fill up the bottom collar with soil, stack another one on top of it - you'll get a protected environment for your seedlings/young vegetables. Once they have grown strong, remove the top collar and use it as another bed, or leave it as it is.
To keep the timber in good shape for a long time you might consider coating the collars with Linseed oil, what is a natural waterproofing and protecting solution, or with other eco-friendly protective finish. Some people simply use building paper for lining.
